The Rut

Created by Andy Campbell in 2004, The Rut is a parody of self-publishing where the ‘would-be author’ never gets past the completion of the first few pages of his book. Turning ‘pages’ triggers a darkly comical looped narrative where the work’s title, author, publisher and credits never quite make it off the drawing board – until the author finally discovers an easier way to put across his message.
