Akiko Animation

I’ve always looked at certain animations and thought they looked easy, so I thought of trying them out.

This is an animation of Akiko, a character of mine, jumping out from below and posing.

Thanks to https://www.pahpuru.deviantart.com/ for importing the animation into Flash and helped added some controls for the animation.

Q&A

1. Did you copy the animation from somewhere?
– No, I thought up of the character’s action myself.

2. What did you use to make this animation?
– I used pencils and tracing paper to draw the animation. I then use vectors to digitally “ink” the lineart in Photoshop. I then colored the frames using the same software and test-animated it in Imageready.

3. Who is this character?
– Akiko, an original character of mine. No, she’s not a recolored character from Bleach or Naruto.

4. Are you gonna do a Caramelldansen animation next?
– I don’t know. Isn’t there enough of those already?
