Ouch! You chipped your tooth while playing ball. Letâs take a look and see if we canât help you to get it looking as good as new. A dental crown is a fake looking tooth that is placed as a cap on an injured tooth, and it will strengthen the tooth and improve its appearance. In this interactive Dental Crown Placement procedure, you will first place a temporary crown on the affected tooth. Weâll go over the different kinds of dental crown materials, metal, porcelain, and ceramic, as well as learn about the reasons to use each kind. Then you will customize a permanent tooth to match the patientâs tooth color and shape. Once the permanent tooth is ready, you will place it on to restore our patients tooth to its former glory. Itâs time to get started, so letâs scrub in!
